We worked with Small Pond studios in Brighton to run a Free short course in engineering and mixing for women, non-binary and trans participants. Most of these workshops took place online during the pandemic. Funded by Arts Council.
Gain Change 2019
Our first national workshop series for women+ and non-binary sound enthusiasts. We delivered sound and music technology workshops across the country, aiming to demystify music technology and encourage more diversity and accessibility into music studios and venues.
Locations included Leeds, Belfast, Coventry, London and Brighton.

A zine for womxn and non-binary sound enthusiasts - a beginners guidebook covering the basics of sound for both live and bedroom recording applications.

We’ve been running workshops at Goldsmiths Music Studios since 2016. These have included hands on studio engineering workshops, mixing one on ones and talks with some of the top engineers in the industry: Mandy Parnell (Aphex Twin, The XX, Sigur Ros), Marta Salogni (Bjork, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean) and Steph Marziano (Denai Moore, The Prodidgy, Kasabian).
OMNII COLLECTIVE PRESENTS: FADER UP at Roundhouse, London (Ages 15 - 17)
A collaboration with London’s Roundhouse involving studio engineering and live sound workshops for 15-17 year olds, providing hands-on engineering experience and one-on-one advice.

To celebrate Women’s History Month and Alternative Careers Week at Goldsmiths, we organised a day festival centred around MUSIC TECHNOLOGY.
Consisting of a series of workshops ran by Native Instruments and Omnii, aiming to engage those of all abilities in the technical aspects of sound and music production.
This included: Production workshops from Native Instruments, Live sound workshop, Mixing workshop and a Gear Jam - improvisation session.
DAMUDOMI X OMNII Challenging the identity of sound - Faroe Islands 2019
Damudomi X Omnii present a 3 day camp on demystifying music technology. This camp will lay a grounding in music production, making recordings, live sound and events; with participants getting a taste for each of these. There will also be talks from speakers who work within the industry and a showcase gig on the final night. Aimed at musicians who want to start producing their own tracks, performers who want to understand more about the gear they’re using and sound enthusiasts who want to learn what goes on behind the mixing desk.
